Man, idek what to say anymore. Like. At all. Lies, hatred, bigotry, preventable deaths, felonies, assault charges and even what went down in 2016-2020 wasn't a dealbreaker for 51% of my home country. Disgusted doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. I know I need to tear myself away from it all, but I can't. It's like a trainwreck. I can't look away.

To all the people who either voted for this man or chose not to vote at all: Have the next four years you deserve. I pray that your innocent loved ones don't suffer for your foolishness.

I've spent the last ten years or so watching the train wreck. *Watching* hasn't slowed it down one iota.

Time to focus on the things I can control. The era of being part of an "informed electorate" is over, if it ever existed.

Felt. My first election was 2016, so this fucker has essentially been lurking in the background of my entire adult life. To say I was looking forward to him getting ousted would be an understatement.

For the time being, I'm going to look for opportunities that allow me to get more involved in my community, especially since my personal life and energy levels have stabilized enough for me to do so. I'll try to channel my rage into my creative projects over the next few days as well.
